Users

Logtrade Users links users in Business Central to users in Logtrade. All communication with Logtrade requires a valid user and password.

A user in Logtrade can be created in Business Central and uploaded to Logtrade by the action "Create/Update User in Logtrade", or the user can first be created in Logtrade and then setup as a Logtrade user in Business Central with the same username and password.

When Logtrade Connect is initiated after installation, the current user are setup as record in the Logtrade Users table and marked as default. This user is used for all requests to Logtrade from Business Central users that are not setup in this table (except for creating/printing consignments which requires a unique Logtrade user linked to the BC-user).

Field name	Description
User ID	Specifies the user name in Business Central.
Print Queue	Specifies if consignments created by the user shall be assigned a specific print queue.
Override Consignment Print Queue	Specifies if the print queue on the user shall override any print queue specified on a consignment when sending the consignment to Logtrade.
Logtrade User ID	Specifies the user name to use when communicating with Logtrade.
Logtrade Password	Specifies the password to use when communicating with Logtrade.
Sender Address Code	Specifies if a specific sender address code shall be used as sender address on consignments created by the user.
Default Location Code	Specifies the location code to use for manually created consignments (consignments without any source or source document) by this user.
Default User	Specifies if the Logtrade user shall be used for requests to Logtrade by users not in the list of Logtrade users.

Note

Sending a consignment to Logtrade for prepare or release requires a personal Logtrade user if the consignment is not in test mode.
