Based on that Great Britain left the European Union some small changes need to be done in Dynamics to generate customs invoices. These changes have nothing to do with LogTrade Connect. It is changes that needs to be done anyway for example based on Intrastat reporting. This document does not cover anything else than how to change settings to be able to generate a customs invoices from Dynamics. Other setup regarding posting of costs etc that might be needed or wanted is not covered.
LogTrade Connect includes a REST API that can be used by external apps to access LogTrade Connect.
One example is the push of consignment status updates. To enable this push of data authentication must be setup in BC and LogTrade needs the information on how to setup the communication to the specific company within the tenant.

One main reason to use a split-shipment process is when you want to consolidate customs invoices for several orders/consignments to one invoice. This is normal to keep the customs cost as low as possible. But there are other reasons than customs for creating split-shipment consignments.

After the assisted setup is completed the system is ready for creating transport documents or you can do more advanced setup. During the setup process necessary codes and values are downloaded. For example, carrier product codes, package types and more. A carrier product is a service the carrier has, for example part load, full load, agent delivery, home delivery, business package service etc, equivalent to Shipping Agent Services.

To enable high speed automated printing of package labels, waybills and other documents LogTrade Technology has developed a printing software called LogTrade Integrated Printing, running as a Windows service.
