Custom Addresses

Custom addresses can be used in address rules (or manually when editing a consignment address) when an adress not present otherwise in Business Central (such as customer, location, company information etc.) is needed. Custom addresses is often used in drop shipment scenarios where the shipper often shall act in the name of the middle man. Different carriers can also have different requirements on sender address for split shipment consignments.

A custom address consists of all fields necessary to create a valid consignment address, including carrier customer number and EUR pallet number.
