Freight Payers

Freight payer is used to define who the carrier shall charge for freight costs on domestic consignments. If no freight payer is defined, the sender will be set as freight payer on a consignment.

Field name	Description
Shipment Method Code	Conditional column.
Source Document Type	Conditional column.
Freight Payer	Specifies the freight payer. Valid options are: - Sender - Recipient - Other

If you use Other as payer, you need to make sure to create an address rule that creates a consignment address with Type = Freight Payer.
