Assisted Setup
The assisted setup will help you do the basic setup in Logtrade Connect.
Note
Before running the assisted setup you need the following information from Logtrade:
- license number
- Username
- Password
Contact sales@Logtrade.se if you are missing any of the above.
- Open assisted setup from the settings menu.
- Scroll down to, and open the assisted setup for Logtrade Connect
- A welcome page opens which describes the five steps in the assisted setup. Please take your time and read through the information and then click Next.
- Enter the license number, username and password you have received from Logtrade. Leave all three fields blank to try the app in a demo mode. Click Next.
Note
The username used in the assisted setup will be your first Logtrade user, which will be linked to your Business Central user. This will be the default Logtrade user for all Business Central users when communicating with Logtrade, except when preparing consignments which require a personal Logtrade user.
Note
When you click Next, a list of licensed carriers will be downloaded from Logtrade. For each carrier; products, services, package types etc. will be downloaded which takes time. It is normal for this step to take several minutes.
- Setup the package types you want to use. The default package types are Box, EUR pallet, Half pallet and Pallet. Click Next.
- Link shipping agents in Business Central to carriers in Logtrade. For each shipping agent, you can enter the customer number that the shipping agent use to charge your company for freight. Click Next.
- Link shipping agent services in Business Central to carrier products in Logtrade. For each shipping agent service, you can specify a default package type. Click Next.
- Specify som additional settings and click Finish to finish the setup.
Field name | Description |

Consignment Nos. | The number series from where to get consignment numbers. |
Logtrade Action | The default status to request when sending consignments to Logtrade. This setting can be overruled by settings in Confirm Status Rules. |
Integrated Printing | Specifies if labels and documents should be printed using the Integrated Printing in Logtrade. Click here to learn more about printing. |
Default Print Queue | Specifies the default print queue name to use on consignments. This setting can be overridden by settings on location and Logtrade user. Click here to learn more about printing. |
Default Goods Types | Specifies the default goods type to use on consignment package lines. Click here to learn more about goods types. |
Logtrade Locale | Specifies the language Logtrade should use in responses and error messages. |
Default Shipment Date | Specifies how to set shipment date on consignment. |
Test Mode | Specifies if consignments sent to Logtrade should be marked at test consignments. After installation and tests you must turn of test mode in Business Central, but also on carriers in Logtrade. |
Remove Country Code from Post Code | Specifies if country code shall be removed from post code when consignments are created. If you e.g. has a post code like SE10506 or SE-10506 the post code will be 10506 if this setting is activated. |
