Linked Source Documents

Linked source documents is used to group multiple source documents bound for the same delivery adress into one single consignment.

Source documents can be linked automatically when creating consignments from warehouse shipment and warehouse pick, since these documents can contain multiple source documents. This automation is controlled by the setting Link Warehouse Source Documents in Delivery Setup.

The following fields must match for automatic linking to take place:

  • Shipping Agent Code
  • Shipping Agent Service Code
  • Shipment Method Code
  • Source Type
  • Source No.
  • Ship-to Address Code**
  • Delivery Name**
  • Delivery Address**
  • Delivery Address 2**
  • Delivery Post Code**
  • Delivery City**

Source documents can be linked manually from the consignment with the action Link Source Documents, or by manually selecting source documents in the list.
