Version 27 (released 2017-05-03)
This version includes a major refactoring in how names and addresses are managed. Upgrading to this version requires data upgrade. Fobs for data upgrade are available for all supported NAV versions (2013 and later). 2013/2013R2 consists of Step1 and Step2 codeunits and from 2015 it’s an upgrade codeunit. Please observe that you need to be on version 23 or later when upgrading to version 27.
Please test thoroughly and involve the customer before go-live since a lot of the functionality in the consignment has changed.
New functionality:
- Addresses and customer numbers has been moved away from the Consignment Header table to a separate table with Consignment Addresses. Only the delivery address fields are available directly on the consignment (and kept in sync with the address with Address Type = Delivery in the new Consignment Address table.
- Print Method and Print Command can be specified on Forwarder Product.
- Support for Assisted Setup.
- Special Quantity Code has changed from an option field to a code field with a lookup table
- The setting for Price Quote Automation has been split into two separate settings for greater flexibility: “Automatic Price Quote” (Y/N) and “Price Quote Source Doc. Update” (an option field that decides if and how the source document is updated).
- The setup table for Sender Address Code has been removed and the functionality incorporated in the new address management
- Freight Cost inserted on Sales Return Order and Purchase Order are now negative.
- The settings for automation of price quote has been split into two separate settings; One for automation of the price quote query and one for automation of source document update.
- Salesperson/purchaser Phone No. and E-mail can now be used as calculated values in the setup for default service property values.
- It was not possible to create SMS for received payments
- Individual packages were not updated if Total Weight on the Consignment Line was updated manually
- Registered Office has been removed from Customs Invoice since that field is a part of the Swedish localization.
- It is now possible to assign value to the field Payer with custom field mapping.
- Weight and volume were not calculated correctly for transfer orders and purchase return order when Warehouse Shipment was used.
- Forwarder Invoice Line now shows if the Consignment has already been invoiced.
- Delivery Notifications can now be specified by Location
- Delivery Notifications can now be triggered when saving Consignment to LogTrade (send as New)
- Package Weight can now be setup as “Goods Included” on Package Type Shortcut (as with Volume since before)
- “Goods included” as option for Weight Type on Package type Shortcut did not function together with automatically created Consignment Lines with auto assigned Packet Type Shortcut Code.
- Delivery Notifications (and other e-mails directly from LogTrade Connect) can now be sent in Norwegian.
